If you are traveling by car, start from Žabljak, the main town in Durmitor National Park. Drive towards the town of Plužine, following the E762 road for approximately 25 km. You will then reach a fork; take the right turn towards the road leading to the Blue Cave. Continue driving for about 15 km until you reach the parking area near the cave entrance. From the parking area, it is a short walk down to the shore.

To reach Blue Cave via public transportation, take a bus from Žabljak to Plužine. Buses run several times a day and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Plužine, you will need to hire a taxi or find a local boat service to take you to the Blue Cave, as it is not accessible directly by road from Plužine. The boat ride typically takes around 30 minutes.
