Getting There

Walking

If you are in Herceg Novi, start at the main square (Trg Nikole Đurkovića). Head east on Njegoševa Street, which will take you towards the coast. Keep walking until you reach the promenade along the waterfront. From there, follow the coastline in a northeast direction until you reach the ferry terminal. You will need to take a ferry across the bay to Kamenari. Once you arrive at Kamenari, exit the ferry and follow the main road (E65) northwest towards the town of Lustica. Keep walking for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road. Take the left path that leads up the hill towards Slansko Lake. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will arrive at Slansko Lake.
Public Transport

From Herceg Novi, head to the local bus station which is located near the main square (Trg Nikole Đurkovića). Take a bus heading towards Tivat or Kotor. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Kamenari. Once you arrive in Kamenari, exit the bus and walk towards the ferry terminal. Board the ferry to cross the bay. After disembarking in Kamenari, follow the main road (E65) northwest until you find the fork in the road. Take the left path which leads uphill toward Slansko Lake. Continue on this path for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the lake.
Bicycle Rental

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Herceg Novi. Start at the rental shop and head towards the waterfront promenade. Cycle along the coast heading northeast until you reach the ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Kamenari. After crossing, cycle on the main road (E65) in the northwest direction. Follow the road until you reach the fork and take the left path that leads up the hill to Slansko Lake. The total cycling distance from Herceg Novi to the lake is approximately 7 kilometers, plus the distance of the ferry ride.
