Walking

From the center of Herceg Novi, walk towards the waterfront promenade along the Adriatic Sea. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the main bus station (Autobuska stanica) near the Old Town. From there, take the local bus towards Dubrovnik. Once you arrive at the border crossing, you will need to pass through customs. After clearing customs, continue on the bus until you reach Dubrovnik. Get off at the Pile bus stop. From there, you'll need to walk up the hill towards Srđ Peak. Follow the signs for the cable car station, which is located at the base of the peak. If you prefer to hike, there are marked trails leading up to the peak that offer stunning views.

Bus

Head to the main bus station (Autobuska stanica) in Herceg Novi. Purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Dubrovnik. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour, depending on traffic and border crossing times. Upon arriving in Dubrovnik, disembark at the Pile bus stop. From there, you can either walk to the cable car station or follow the hiking trails leading up to Srđ Peak. The cable car will take you directly to the summit where you can enjoy panoramic views of the region.

Taxi/Private Transfer

You can also hire a taxi or arrange for a private transfer from Herceg Novi to Dubrovnik. This option provides the most convenience and can save you time, especially if you're traveling in a group. Instruct the driver to take you to the Pile area in Dubrovnik. Upon arrival, you can either walk to the cable car station or hike up to Srđ Peak. Make sure to negotiate the fare in advance or agree on a price for the round trip.
