Getting There

• Car

  Start your journey in Kotor Bay. If you're coming from Kotor town, head north on the E65 road toward Cetinje. Continue on this road for approximately 14 km (about 30 minutes). You'll begin to see signs for the Kotor Serpentine as you approach the winding roads. Look for the turn-off that leads up the hill into the serpentine route. As you ascend the serpentine, you'll navigate through a series of sharp turns with breathtaking views of Kotor Bay on your right. Please note that parking at the viewpoint can be limited, so arrive early to secure a spot.

• Public Transportation

  From Kotor, take a local bus heading to Cetinje. Buses run frequently from the Kotor Bus Station. The ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Cetinje, you may need to either walk or take a taxi to the Kotor Serpentine entrance, which is approximately 6 km away. The taxi ride should cost around €10-€15. Alternatively, you can look for any local tour operators that might offer trips to the serpentine.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous and are located close to the Kotor Serpentine entrance, you can walk up from Cetinje. The hike is steep and can take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Ensure you have appropriate footwear and water, as the path can be rugged and steep. The views along the way will reward your effort!
