Walking
From the Old Town of Kotor, head northwest on Stari Grad (Old Town) street towards the Maritime Museum. After passing the museum, continue straight and exit the Old Town through the northern gate. Once you are outside, follow the signs leading towards the fortress trail. This will lead you to a steep path that takes you up to Kotor Fortress (San Giovanni Fortress). As you ascend, enjoy the beautiful views of the bay. Continue on the path until you reach the top where you can enjoy the Kotor Great Scene view. Be prepared for a hike, as it can be quite steep!

If you are near the Kotor bus station, exit the station and head towards the Old Town. Follow the main road (M2.3) leading towards the Old Town. Once you reach the entrance of the Old Town, follow the directions to Kotor Fortress. The path to Kotor Great Scene is the same as from the Old Town. Ascend the fortress trail to enjoy the stunning view.

Follow the path towards the Kotor Fortress trail, which will take you on a winding path up the hill.
