Car

From Morača, head southwest on the main road towards Bar. Continue on this road for approximately 35 kilometers (about 40 minutes). As you approach Bar, follow the signs for Stari Bar. Once you reach Stari Bar, look for parking options near the Old Bar Fortress. There may be small parking fees, typically around €1-2 per hour. From the parking area, it’s a short walk to the fortress entrance.

Public Transportation

To reach Fortress Old Bar from Morača using public transport, take a bus from Morača to Bar. The journey will take about 30-45 minutes. Once in Bar, you can take a local bus or taxi to Stari Bar. The taxi fare may range from €5-10, while the local bus will cost around €1. After arriving in Stari Bar, you can walk to the fortress, which is well-signposted and only about a 10-15 minute walk from the bus or taxi drop-off point.
