From Šavnik, head south on the main road (E80) towards Nikšić. After about 20 km, you will reach the junction for Budva. Turn left onto the road leading to Budva (follow the signs). Continue on this road for approximately 30 km until you reach Budva. Once in Budva, follow the signs to the old town. The Budva Citadel is located within the old town, situated at the coordinates 42.2771602, 18.8380126. There are public parking areas near the old town, but be aware of parking fees which can range from 1 to 2 euros per hour.

To reach Budva from Šavnik using public transportation, first, go to the bus station in Šavnik. There are regular bus services to Budva. Purchase a ticket from the station (the cost is usually around 5 to 10 euros depending on the bus company). The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Budva bus station, walk towards the old town, which is about a 15-minute walk.
