The Ostrog Orthodox Monastery is located approximately 20 km from Nikšić. You will see signs for the monastery as you approach Dabovići. The final stretch involves a steep ascent, so drive carefully. There is a parking area near the monastery, but it can get crowded, especially on weekends.

    To reach the Ostrog Orthodox Monastery using public transportation, take a bus from the main bus station in Zeta Plain to Nikšić. Buses run frequently, and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Upon arrival in Nikšić, you can take a local minibus (often referred to as 'furgon') towards Dabovići. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the Ostrog Monastery stop. The minibus ride takes around 30 minutes. Be aware that the last bus back to Nikšić may leave in the early evening, so plan accordingly.
