If you are traveling by car from Marrakech, take the N9 road towards Ouarzazate. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Atlas Mountains, passing through Tizi n'Tichka Pass. After approximately 4 hours of driving, you will reach Ouarzazate. From there, follow the signs to Aït Ben Haddou, which is about 30 minutes away (approximately 20 km). The road is well-maintained, and you will see signs directing you to the UNESCO World Heritage site.

Public Transportation
To reach Aït Ben Haddou using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Marrakech to Ouarzazate. Buses depart regularly from the bus station in Marrakech and the journey takes about 4 hours. Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, look for a shared taxi (also known as 'grand taxi') which will take you directly to Aït Ben Haddou. The fare for the taxi should be around 30-40 MAD per person, and the ride will take approximately 30 minutes.

Once you arrive at Aït Ben Haddou, you will need to walk across a small bridge that crosses the river to reach the Ksar (fortified village). The walk is short and takes about 10 minutes. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can be uneven.
