Walking
From the center of Chefchaouen (Plaza Uta el-Hammam), head towards the main street, Boulevard Hassan II. Walk north until you reach the bus station (Gare Routière). Here, you can catch a shared taxi or a minibus towards Akchour. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of the Waterfalls Akchour trail. The ride should take approximately 30-40 minutes.

Shared Taxi
Once at the bus station in Chefchaouen, look for shared taxis (known as 'taxi collectif') heading to Akchour. These taxis usually leave when full but can also depart if you wait a little while. Communicate with the driver or other passengers about your destination. The shared taxi will drop you off at the entrance of the Akchour hiking area. The fare is typically around 15-20 dirhams.

Hiking
After being dropped off at the entrance of the Akchour trail, follow the main path that leads into the park. The hike to the Waterfalls will take approximately 1-2 hours depending on your pace. Follow the signs along the trail, and be sure to enjoy the stunning scenery of the Rif Mountains along the way. Keep left at any forks in the path, as this will lead you directly to the waterfalls.
