Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the entrance of the Medina of Fes El Bali. From here, head south towards the bustling streets of the souk. Follow the narrow alleyways, keeping an eye out for directional signs pointing towards the major landmarks like the Bou Inania Madrasa. Continue walking straight, passing by various shops and stalls until you reach the intersection near the Talaa Kebira street. At this intersection, turn left onto Talaa Kebira. Walk for about 10 minutes; you will pass several vibrant shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the blue and white tiles typical of Fes architecture. After about 10 minutes, you will reach a large open area known as Place Seffarine. From there, continue straight, and you will soon see Fez Bazar on your right side.

    If you are starting from the Bab Bou Jeloud (Blue Gate), exit through the gate and turn right. Follow the path leading into the Medina. Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the Talaa Sghira street. Turn left onto Talaa Sghira. Continue walking for another 5 minutes, and you will see a sign for Fez Bazar on your left side, near a small café. The bazar is well-marked and hard to miss due to the vibrant colors and sounds of the market.

    From the Dar Batha Museum, exit and head towards the main road. Cross the street and turn right. Walk along the road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit to stay on Avenue des Merinides. Continue walking for about 15 minutes. As you approach the Medina, look for signs that direct you to Fez Bazar. Once you enter the Medina, navigate through the streets, and you will find Fez Bazar located near the fountain at Place Seffarine.
