Walking
If you are starting from the famous Bou Inania Madrasa, head south towards the bustling Talaa Kebira street. Walk down Talaa Kebira until you reach the intersection with Talaa Seghira street. Take a left onto Talaa Seghira and continue walking until you see a small opening on your right that leads to the Old city wall. Follow the narrow pathway until you reach the base of the wall. This route should take approximately 15 minutes.

From Place Seffarine, walk east through the narrow streets of Fes el Bali. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards the Old city wall. You may pass by local workshops and stalls, giving you a true taste of the local culture. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the Old city wall, which will be easily recognizable by its large stone structure.

If you are near the Al-Attarine Madrasa, exit the madrasa and turn left. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Rue des Merinides. Turn right and continue walking. The Old city wall will be on your left after about 8 minutes. Look for the large archway that is part of the wall; this is your destination.
