From Tafilalt, take the N13 road heading southeast towards Errachidia. Continue on N13 for about 70 km until you reach Errachidia. From Errachidia, follow the signs to Rissani on the N12 road for about 15 km. Once you reach Rissani, take the Dunes Road towards Merzouga. The drive will take approximately 2-3 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Upon reaching Merzouga, follow the signs to the Sahara Desert. You can park your car in Merzouga and arrange for a guided tour or camel ride into the desert.

From Tafilalt, you can take a local bus to Errachidia. The bus station in Tafilalt will have schedules and ticket prices. The bus ride will take about 1.5 hours. Once in Errachidia, you can catch another bus to Merzouga. The bus ride from Errachidia to Merzouga takes about 1 hour. It is advisable to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary. Upon arrival in Merzouga, you can find local guides who offer tours to the Sahara Desert.
