Tangier Full-Day Private Tour with Camel Ride Experience

some hits, some misses

Group of 5 of us booked a "private" tour for 9am at the cruise ship dock. Later, we learned Muhammad took a booking for another private tour to join us at 10am and made us sit in the van for an hour waiting for the other group of 5 before starting. Middle part of the day was great as his English is good and takes you to the same stops many of the other tours go, plus a fantastic stop for pancakes and tea outside of the city. Bring extra tipping money as you're turned over to other guides at some stops (camel rides, Hurcules Caves). The tour is a driving portion first half of the day and walking around inside the city for the second half. Was put off by walking portion with over an hour of your tour being taken to "cultural demonstrations" which are 2 stops inside fancier shops for sales pitches, one for rugs and a second for spices/beauty products.

The activities were very well organized, all within the timings. Our guide, Samy, was fantastic, very friendly and attentive, trying to provide us the best experience. It was all excellent. I recommend.

10 million times over and over would recommend this trip. It’s a long day, about 15 hours for us, but it was well worth it. The Rock of Gibraltar and Tangier Morocco was an experience we will never forget. Our tour guide, Yousef, invited us into his home in Tangier and his wife made us traditional Moroccan tea with Moroccan cookies. They both were very kind and inviting. We had a huge history lesson about the Rock and Straight of Gibraltar that we didn’t know before. Beautiful time in Tangier. Purchased some rugs and traditional Morrocan shoes. The souk markets were beautiful. The people so kind and inviting. We left our hotel in Sevilla Spain at 6:10 am and returned back to our hotel at 9:30 pm.
