Create Your Zellige Mosaic in Tangier + Tea Experience

So fun, educational, with a tangible thing to take home

This was such a fun experience! Mohamed taught me (I came alone) about the history of zellige tiles and how they are made through the country. I got to try cutting my own pieces of the tile as well. I also had fun learning about how to pour tea, AND got a Moroccan name which was adorable. I got to take time to create my tile, and he helped me through each step. 10/10 would recommend this for a low key couple of hours with a hands on take home item

Fun, creative experience in Tangiers

This was a really fun experience -- Mohammed taught me a bit about the history of Moroccan tiles and showed an instructive video about how they are made, pausing to give helpful commentary. Then I had the choice of three existing designs, which I could modify as I chose, and a whole range of colored pieces to make my tile. Mohammed was patient with me trying out various color combinations, and when I was ready, he helped me pour the plaster and make my design permanent; he also cleaned and finished it for me. I was very pleased with how it came out, and I'd definitely recommend the workshop!
