Bus
From Tetouan, head to the main bus terminal, which is located near the center of the city. Look for buses heading to Chefchaouen; they are frequent and the ride takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Chefchaouen bus terminal, you can take a taxi or walk to Plaza Uta el Hamman, which is approximately a 20-minute walk. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions as you make your way to the plaza.
Shared Taxi
Go to the shared taxi station in Tetouan, located close to the main bus terminal. Look for taxis that are heading to Chefchaouen. These shared taxis leave when they are full and the journey takes around 1.5 hours. Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, ask the driver to drop you off at Plaza Uta el Hamman, which is a central location for exploring the town.
Walking
If you are already in Chefchaouen, find your way to the Place Outa el Hammam, which is the heart of the town. This area is easy to navigate on foot. Look for the blue buildings and local shops as they will guide you to the plaza. It’s a short walk from most places in Chefchaouen, typically no more than 10-15 minutes.
