Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the famous Mercado do Bairro Central, exit the market and head north on Avenida 10 de Novembro. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Avenida Karl Marx. Turn left onto Avenida Karl Marx, and after a 10-minute walk, you will see the Brazil-Mozambique Cultural Center on your right, near the corner with Avenida Vladimir Lenine.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From Praça da Independência, take the bus number 1 or 2 heading towards Mercado do Bairro Central. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the stop near Avenida Karl Marx. From there, walk east along Avenida Karl Marx for about 300 meters, and the Brazil-Mozambique Cultural Center will be on your left.

  • Bicycle

    If you are near the Maputo Waterfront, start cycling west towards Avenida 10 de Novembro. Continue straight for about 1.5 km until you reach Avenida Karl Marx. Turn left and cycle for about 500 meters. The cultural center will be on your right, just before the intersection with Avenida Vladimir Lenine.

  • Walking from Hotel Cardoso

    From Hotel Cardoso, head down Avenida da Marginal towards Avenida 10 de Novembro. Turn left onto Avenida 10 de Novembro and walk straight for about 1.2 km. Turn left onto Avenida Karl Marx and continue walking for about 5 minutes. The Brazil-Mozambique Cultural Center will be on your right.
