Walking
From the Matola Market, head east on Avenida 1 de Maio. Walk for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenida Samora Machel. Turn left onto Avenida Samora Machel and continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer. The Samora Machel Statue will be on your right, located in a small park area beside the avenue.
Public Transport
Board a minibus (Chapa) heading towards Maputo at the Matola bus terminal. Make sure to ask for one that goes along Avenida Samora Machel. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the stop closest to the Samora Machel Statue. From there, walk about 200 meters back towards the statue, which will be visible from the road.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Matola central square and head towards Avenida 1 de Maio. Cycle for about 1 kilometer until you reach Avenida Samora Machel. Turn left and continue cycling for another kilometer. The statue will be on your right side, located in a park area along the avenue.
