Walking
Start at the Matola Bus Terminal, which is a central point for many travelers. From the terminal, head east on Avenida da República towards the intersection with Rua da Conceição. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at Praça da Juventude. Here, take the second exit onto Avenida 24 de Julho. Walk along Avenida 24 de Julho for about 2 kilometers until you reach the Maputo River. Cross the bridge over the river, which will lead you into Maputo city. Once in Maputo, continue straight onto Rua da Rádio for approximately 1 kilometer. The Catedral de Maputo will be located on your right. Look for the large, distinctive structure.
