Walking
If you are starting from the Matola Bus Terminal, head east on Av. 1 de Maio. Walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Av. Patrice Lumumba. Turn right onto Av. Patrice Lumumba and continue walking for approximately 2 kilometers. You will pass several shops and local eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Jardim dos Professores, as the Teachers Garden is located on your left side. The entrance to the garden will be clearly marked.
Public Transport (Minibus)
From your location in Matola, find a nearby minibus (chapas) heading towards Maputo. You can ask locals for the right route; typically, you want a chapa that goes towards the city center. Once on the minibus, inform the driver you want to get off at Jardim dos Professores. The journey will take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you disembark, the Teachers Garden will be a short walk away; head north on Av. Patrice Lumumba, and the garden entrance will be on your left.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Matola. Start from the Matola Market and head east on Av. 1 de Maio. Cycle straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach Av. Patrice Lumumba. Turn right onto Av. Patrice Lumumba and continue for approximately 2 kilometers. Be cautious of traffic as you ride. The Teachers Garden will be on your left, and you will see the entrance as you approach.
