If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the nearest major town in the Ayeyarwady Region, such as Pathein. Head east on Yangon-Pathein Road (National Highway 1). Continue for approximately 70 kilometers until you reach the junction with Kyaik Khauk Pagoda Road. Turn right onto Kyaik Khauk Pagoda Road and drive for about 10 kilometers until you see the pagoda on your left. There is ample parking available near the pagoda.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Pathein to Yangon. The bus ride typically takes around 2-3 hours. Upon arriving in Yangon, transfer to a local bus heading towards Kyaik Khauk Pagoda. The bus fare should be around 1,000 MMK (Myanmar Kyat). Inform the conductor of your destination, and they will let you know when to get off. After disembarking, it's a short walk of about 1 kilometer along Kyaik Khauk Pagoda Road to reach the pagoda.
