Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Old Bagan Archaeological Zone entrance, head east on the main pathway. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the Nyaung U area. At the intersection, turn left and continue walking for about 500 meters. You will see the Bagan Golden Palace on your right, just past the Tharabar Gate.

From the Old Bagan area, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Begin by cycling towards the Old Bagan Archaeological Zone entrance. Once you exit the zone, turn left at the main intersection towards Nyaung U. Continue cycling for approximately 1 kilometer. The Bagan Golden Palace will appear on your right, shortly after passing the Tharabar Gate.

If you prefer a horse cart, you can hire one from the Old Bagan streets. Ask the driver to take you to the Bagan Golden Palace.
