If you are starting from the Old Bagan area, head east on the main road (Anawrahta Road) towards the archaeological zone. Walk for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the Bagan Archaeological Museum. Continue straight on this road, which will lead you towards Maha Bodhi Phaya. After about 10 more minutes of walking, you will see the impressive structure of Maha Bodhi Phaya on your left.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Old Bagan. Start on Anawrahta Road and cycle east towards the archaeological zone. After approximately 2 km, you will reach the intersection with the road leading to the Bagan Archaeological Museum. Turn left and continue cycling straight for about 1 km until you see the Maha Bodhi Phaya on your left side. Make sure to lock your bicycle at the designated parking area before entering the temple.

You can hire a horse cart from various locations in Old Bagan. Communicate your destination to the driver by saying 'Maha Bodhi Phaya.' The ride will take about 20 minutes, during which you'll pass by several stunning pagodas.
