If you are starting from the Old Bagan area, head east on the main road (Anawrahta Road) towards the archaeological zone. Walk for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the Bagan Archaeological Museum. Continue straight on this road, which will lead you towards Maha Bodhi Phaya. After about 10 more minutes of walking, you will see the impressive structure of Maha Bodhi Phaya on your left.
