If you are starting from the Nyaung-U town center, head north on Thiri Mingalar Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with the Bagan-Nyaung U Road. Turn left (west) onto Bagan-Nyaung U Road and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see a sign for Shwezigon Pagoda on your right. Follow the path leading to the pagoda entrance.
Bicycle

Rent a bicycle from a nearby shop in Nyaung-U. Start by heading north on Thiri Mingalar Street, then turn left onto the Bagan-Nyaung U Road. Cycle straight for around 1.5 kilometers. Look for the sign indicating Shwezigon Pagoda on your right. Park your bicycle near the entrance and proceed on foot.
Horse Cart

Hire a horse cart from one of the many available in Nyaung-U. Tell the driver you wish to go to Shwezigon Pagoda. The driver will take you west on the Bagan-Nyaung U Road. The journey takes approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at the pagoda, pay the driver and proceed to explore the site.
