Getting there

Car

If you are driving from Bago, head east on the Bago-Nyaunglaybin Road (Highway 1) towards Nyaunglaybin. Continue for about 30 km until you reach the junction to Taunggyi. Turn left onto the Taunggyi Road and drive for approximately 53 km. Watch for signs directing you to the Taunggyi viewpoint area. Once you arrive at Taunggyi, follow local signs to the ​တောင်​ပေါ် viewpoint. Parking is available nearby, but be cautious of local traffic.
