Getting There

• Car

  From Golden Rock, drive north on the main road towards Loikaw. Follow signs for Loikaw, which is approximately 70 km away. The trip should take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you reach Loikaw, navigate to the M695+373 coordinates using your GPS. The Sri Mingala Taung Taw (Taung Kwe Zedi) is located a short drive from the city center, and you can park near the entrance.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  Head to the Golden Rock bus station and look for buses heading to Loikaw. The journey takes around 2-3 hours and costs approximately 5,000-8,000 MMK depending on the bus service. Once you arrive in Loikaw, you can take a taxi or motorbike taxi to M695+373. It’s a short drive, about 10-15 minutes, and should cost around 3,000-5,000 MMK.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Golden Rock to Sri Mingala Taung Taw (Taung Kwe Zedi). This will be more expensive, costing around 30,000-50,000 MMK for a one-way trip, but it will take you directly to your destination without the need for transfers.

• Motorbike Taxi

  For a quicker and more adventurous option, you can take a motorbike taxi from Golden Rock to Loikaw. This ride should cost around 10,000-15,000 MMK and take about 1.5 hours. Once you reach Loikaw, you can catch a motorbike taxi to the pagoda for an additional cost of around 2,000-3,000 MMK.
