Getting There

Walking
Start from the center of Hpa-An, at the main market area near the Aung San Market. Head south on 2nd Street (also known as Pyay Road) and continue walking straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by several shops and local eateries. Keep an eye out for the large limestone hills on your left, which are a signature of the region.

After reaching the intersection with the road that leads to the Kawthoung Bridge, turn left and walk towards the bridge. You will see signs pointing towards the Bayin Nyi Cave along the way. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the foot of the hill where the cave is located.

Climbing
Once you arrive at the base of the hill, you will notice steps leading up to the cave entrance. There are around 200 steps to reach the cave, so take your time and enjoy the view as you climb. At the top, you will find the entrance to Bayin Nyi Cave, which is adorned with beautiful Buddha statues.
