Getting there

Walking

If you are in the center of Kalaw, start at the Kalaw Market, which is a popular spot. Head south on the main road (Paw Khone Road) for about 1 kilometer. Keep an eye out for local shops and stalls as you walk. After you pass the Golden Buddha statue on your left, continue straight until you reach the intersection with JHH9+JFG. Turn left at this intersection, and Kalaw Station will be a short walk ahead on your right.

Bicycle

From the center of Kalaw, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Start by heading towards the main road (Paw Khone Road) and cycle south for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by various shops and eateries. Once you reach the Golden Buddha statue, take a left at the next intersection onto JHH9+JFG. Kalaw Station will be on your right after a short distance.

Tricycle (local transport)

Find a tricycle at a local stand or hail one from the street. Tell the driver that you want to go to Kalaw Station. The ride is relatively short, and it should take about 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will know the location, and you will be dropped off right in front of the station, which is located on JHH9+JFG.
