From the center of Kalaw, start at the Kalaw Market (a popular spot for tourists). Exit the market heading east onto Main Road. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Myo Ma Street. Turn left onto Myo Ma Street and continue walking for another 200 meters. At the next intersection, turn right onto JHH9+JM2 Street. The Kalaw Railway Station Head Depot will be on your left after about 300 meters. Look for a large colonial-style building, which is the depot.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near Kalaw Market. Start your ride from the market heading east on Main Road. Cycle straight for approximately 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Myo Ma Street. Turn left onto Myo Ma Street and keep cycling for another 200 meters. At the next intersection, turn right onto JHH9+JM2 Street. The Kalaw Railway Station Head Depot will be on your left after about 300 meters. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on your pace.
