After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will see a fork in the road. Keep to the left and continue onto the Unnamed Road for another 1 kilometer. The Maing Thauk Monastery will be on your right side. Look for the large entrance gate.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kalaw. Start at the main square and head towards Aung Sann Road. Cycle south for about 2 kilometers. As you approach the fork in the road, stay to the left to continue onto the Unnamed Road. After about 1 kilometer, you will see the Maing Thauk Monastery on your right. Enjoy the scenic ride!
