    From the center of Kalaw, head south towards the main road (Aung Sann Road). Walk along this road and follow the signs towards the Inle Lake area. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will see a fork in the road. Keep to the left and continue onto the Unnamed Road for another 1 kilometer. The Maing Thauk Monastery will be on your right side. Look for the large entrance gate.

    Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kalaw. Start at the main square and head towards Aung Sann Road. Cycle south for about 2 kilometers. As you approach the fork in the road, stay to the left to continue onto the Unnamed Road. After about 1 kilometer, you will see the Maing Thauk Monastery on your right. Enjoy the scenic ride!

    Trekking

    For a more adventurous route, consider trekking from Kalaw to Maing Thauk Monastery. Start at the Kalaw train station and take the trail heading south. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and local farms along the way. After about 2.5 kilometers, you will reach the fork in the road; bear left onto the Unnamed Road.
