Getting there

Walking

Start from the Kalaw Market, which is located in the center of Kalaw. Head south on Main Road until you reach the intersection with Yawnghwe Road. Turn right onto Yawnghwe Road and continue walking for about 15 minutes. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye on your left-hand side for a small path that leads towards a quieter area. After about 500 meters, you will see a sign for ပင်းတယ. Follow the path until it leads you to the entrance.

Bicycle

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near the Kalaw Market. Begin your journey by cycling south on Main Road towards Yawnghwe Road. After about 10 minutes, turn right onto Yawnghwe Road. Continue cycling for approximately 2 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Look for the small path on your left that directs you towards ပင်းတယ. Follow this path until you arrive at your destination.

Trekking

If you enjoy trekking, consider leaving from the outskirts of Kalaw. Start at the Kalaw Railway Station and take the trail heading southeast. The trek will take around 1-1.5 hours. Follow the signs for local trekking routes, and enjoy the beautiful nature around you. As you approach the vicinity of ပင်းတယ, you will come across local farms and scenic viewpoints. Make sure to ask locals for directions if needed, as they can guide you directly to the entrance.
