Walking
From the center of Kyaiktiyo, head towards the Kyaiktiyo Pagoda Road. Walk in the direction of the hill where the pagoda is located. You will pass by several local shops and eateries along the way. Continue walking for about 20 minutes until you reach the base of the hill where you can find the entrance to the Kyaiktiyo Pagoda area.
Walking
Once at the entrance of the Kyaiktiyo Pagoda, you can ask local guides or check posted signs for directions towards the nearest transport point for ballooning tours. Look for signs that mention 'Oriental Balloning' or ask local vendors for assistance.
Walking
Follow the signs or directions provided by locals towards Nyaung-U, which is where Oriental Balloning is located. It may require a bit of walking or taking a local bicycle rickshaw, depending on your proximity to Nyaung-U and the ballooning office.
Bicycle Rickshaw
If you prefer not to walk, you can hire a bicycle rickshaw from the entrance of Kyaiktiyo Pagoda. Simply tell the driver 'Nyaung-U' or 'Oriental Balloning,' and they will take you to the location. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.
