If you are driving from Magway, take the Pyay-Aunglan Road (also known as Bagan Road) heading towards Pyay. Follow the signs for Pyay and continue for approximately 82 km. Once you reach Pyay, look for the signs directing you to Phaya Gyi Stupa. The stupa is located at R7G5+28C on Pyay-Aunglan Road. There is usually parking available near the site.

From Magway, you can catch a bus to Pyay at the local bus station. Buses run frequently, and the fare is typically around 3,000 to 5,000 MMK (Myanmar Kyat). The journey takes about 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Pyay, you can either take a taxi or a local trishaw (fare around 1,000-3,000 MMK) to reach Phaya Gyi Stupa, which is about 5 km from the bus station. Just tell the driver 'Phaya Gyi' and they will know where to take you.
