Start at Mandalay Hill. From the main entrance, walk down to the base of the hill and head south towards 26th Street. Turn right onto 26th Street and continue until you reach the junction with 87th Street. Turn left onto 87th Street and walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach the Mandalay Railway Station. From there, head west along the railway tracks towards Sagaing, which is about a 5-kilometer walk. Follow the tracks until you reach Sagaing, and then ask locals for directions to Taw Lay Htet Monastery located at WX2Q+5X4 in Sagaing.

From the city center, take a local bus heading to Sagaing. Buses can be boarded at the Mandalay Central Bus Station. Once aboard, inform the conductor that you wish to get off at Sagaing. The ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Upon arrival in Sagaing, walk towards the main road and ask locals for directions to the Taw Lay Htet Monastery located at WX2Q+5X4. It's a short walk from the bus stop.

Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Mandalay. Start from the central area and cycle towards Sagaing, taking the route that leads you along the Ayeyarwady River. Follow the riverside road, enjoying the scenic views. After about 7 kilometers, you will reach Sagaing. Once in Sagaing, use a map app on your phone to navigate to Taw Lay Htet Monastery at WX2Q+5X4. It should be an easy ride, taking around 30-40 minutes.
