Follow the signs to Nyaungshwe as you approach the lake. Parking is available in Nyaungshwe, and from there, you can hire a local boat to explore Inle Lake.

    From Kalaw, you can take a local bus to Nyaungshwe. Buses leave frequently throughout the day from the Kalaw bus station. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Nyaungshwe, you can easily find boat services that will take you out onto Inle Lake. The bus fare is usually around 5,000 MMK (Myanmar Kyat).
