Getting There

    From the center of Sittwe, head towards the Sittwe Jetty, which is located along the waterfront. You will need to catch a ferry to Mrauk-U. The ferry terminal is marked and you can ask locals for directions if needed. Make sure to check the ferry schedule as it may vary. Once you arrive at Mrauk-U, disembark and head towards the main road in front of the ferry terminal. From there, you can either hire a local trishaw or continue on foot. If you are walking, head southwest on the main road until you reach the junction with the road leading to Shaitthaung Phayar. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions. The temple is located a short distance down this road, and you should be able to see it rising above the surrounding landscape as you approach.
