Getting There

    Start your journey from the center of Sittwe, perhaps from the Sittwe Central Market. Head east on Myaungmya Road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Kyauktaw Road. Turn left onto Kyauktaw Road and continue straight for approximately 800 meters. You will see the Lawkanandar Pagoda sign on your right. Follow the path leading up to the pagoda, which is about 200 meters from the road.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Sittwe. Start from the Sittwe Central Market and ride east on Myaungmya Road for about 1 kilometer. Turn left onto Kyauktaw Road and cycle for around 800 meters. Keep an eye out for the Lawkanandar Pagoda sign on your right. Follow the path to the pagoda, which is about 200 meters from the road.

    You can hire a trishaw from anywhere in Sittwe. Request the driver to take you to Lawkanandar Pagoda. It is a well-known destination, so most drivers will be familiar with it.
