From the center of Sittwe, head east on the main road (Kyaung Taung Street) towards the river. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Aung San Road. Turn left onto Aung San Road and walk for about 500 meters. The Rakhine State Cultural Museum will be on your right, marked by a prominent sign. The museum is near the Sittwe waterfront, so you should be able to see the river as you approach.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Sittwe. Start at the city center and head east on Kyaung Taung Street. Once you reach the intersection with Aung San Road, turn left. Continue cycling for about 500 meters along Aung San Road. The Rakhine State Cultural Museum will be on your right side, close to the waterfront, making it a pleasant ride with views of the river.

Take a local trishaw (a three-wheeled bike taxi) from any central location in Sittwe. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Rakhine State Cultural Museum. They will know the location.
