Public Transportation
From Kawthoung, take a local bus or a shared taxi to the nearest pier. The travel should take around 20-30 minutes. Once at the pier, you will need to hire a boat to take you to Song Island, which should cost around 5,000 to 10,000 kyats per person, depending on the boat service. The boat ride will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at Song Island, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Pyi Daw Aye Pagoda, which is a short walk from the dock.
