Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving to Desert Rhino Camp from the nearest major town, Twyfelfontein, head northwest on the D3218 road. Follow the signs for Damaraland and continue for approximately 40 kilometers. You will pass through stunning landscapes, including rocky outcrops and scattered vegetation. After about 30 minutes, you will reach the junction where the D3218 meets the D2354. Turn left onto the D2354 and continue straight for another 30 kilometers until you see the sign for Desert Rhino Camp. The camp is located approximately 5 kilometers off the main road, and you will need to follow the marked track to the camp entrance.

  • Public Transportation + Shuttle

    If you are using public transport, take a bus or shuttle from Windhoek to Twyfelfontein. The journey typically takes around 6-7 hours. Once you arrive in Twyfelfontein, you will need to arrange a transfer to Desert Rhino Camp.
