Car
If you're driving in Kaokoland, start from the town of Opuwo, which is a common entry point. Head northwest on the C43 road towards the Skeleton Coast. After approximately 120 km, turn onto the D3707 road towards the Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for gravel roads, and have a spare tire and emergency supplies.

To reach Opuwo, you can take a public bus or shuttle from Windhoek. Buses operate daily from the main bus station. The journey takes about 12 hours and costs approximately N$ 400.
