Car
From any location in Kavango West, head towards Divundu. If you are starting from the town of Rundu, take the B10 road south towards Divundu. The drive takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, covering around 200 kilometers. Once you reach Divundu, follow the signs for Bwabwata National Park. The park entrance is located near the coordinates WH2J+CGM, which is approximately 20 kilometers from the center of Divundu. Ensure you have a map or GPS to guide you as you approach the park.
Public Transportation
If you prefer to use public transport, you can take a bus from Rundu to Divundu. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 3 to 4 hours. Once in Divundu, you can hire a taxi or look for local transport services that can take you to the entrance of Bwabwata National Park. The taxi fare should be negotiated beforehand, but expect to pay around N$100 to N$150 for the ride to the park.
Taxi or Shuttle Service
For more convenience, consider hiring a taxi or a shuttle service from Rundu or Divundu directly to Bwabwata National Park. This option may be more expensive, costing around N$600 to N$800 for a round trip, but it provides a direct and hassle-free way to reach the park. Ensure to arrange for the return trip with the driver.
