Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Kunene Region, head southeast on the C35 road towards Outjo. After approximately 120 km, you will reach the junction with the B1 road. Turn left onto the B1 road and continue for about 45 km. Look for the signs directing you to Etosha National Park. After entering the park, follow the signs for Okaukuejo, which is about 17 km from the park entrance. Please note that a park entry fee is required, currently around N$ 80 per person, and N$ 10 per vehicle.

Public Transportation
From Kunene, you can catch a bus to Outjo, which operates several times a week. The journey takes around 2-3 hours. Once in Outjo, you will need to arrange for a taxi or shuttle to take you to the Etosha National Park entrance, which is about 40 km away. This taxi ride may cost around N$ 600 to N$ 800, depending on the negotiation. After entering the park, follow the signs to Okaukuejo, which is about 17 km inside the park.
