Car
If you're traveling by car from Windhoek, take the B1 highway north towards Otjiwarongo. At Otjiwarongo, switch to the C38 road towards Kamanjab. Continue on the C38 until you reach the junction with C43, then turn left onto C43. Follow the C43 as it leads you through scenic landscapes until you arrive at the junction with the D3700 road. Turn left onto the D3700 and follow this road until you reach Epupa Falls. The total drive is approximately 800 kilometers and may take around 10-12 hours, depending on road conditions.
Public Transportation
From Windhoek, you can take a long-distance bus to Opuwo, which is the nearest major town to Epupa Falls. The buses usually leave from the TransNamib bus station. The journey will take around 12-14 hours. From Opuwo, you can hire a taxi or arrange a shuttle service to take you to Epupa Falls, which is about 200 kilometers away. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it typically costs around 150-200 Namibian Dollars.
