Getting There
Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Windhoek city center. Head northeast on Independence Avenue towards Robert Mugabe Avenue. Continue straight to stay on Independence Avenue, which will become the B1 road. Follow the B1 for about 20 kilometers. You will pass through some small towns and scenic landscapes. Look for signs indicating Okapuka Safari Lodge. The lodge is located just off the B1 road at B1 Döbra, near Windhoek. Once you see the sign, turn off the B1 onto the lodge's access road.
Public Transportation
For travelers using public transportation, take a bus or shuttle from Windhoek to Okahandja. Buses frequently depart from the main bus station in Windhoek. Once you reach Okahandja, you will need to arrange for a taxi or ride-sharing service to take you to Okapuka Safari Lodge. Inform the driver that you're headed to B1 Döbra, as they should be familiar with the location. Expect to pay a fare of around N$ 300 to N$ 400 for the taxi ride from Okahandja to the lodge.
Taxi
If you're already in Windhoek and prefer a direct route to Okapuka Safari Lodge, you can hire a taxi. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand. The journey should take approximately 30 minutes, and you can expect to pay between N$ 350 and N$ 500. Provide the driver with the lodge's address: B1 Döbra, Windhoek, to ensure they know where to take you.
