Car
If you're driving from Windhoek, take the B1 highway heading south towards Rehoboth. Continue on the B1 until you reach the junction for the C24 road. Turn left onto the C24 and follow the signs towards Solitaire. After passing through Solitaire, continue on the C24 which will lead you directly to the Spreetshoogte Pass. The pass is located between Solitaire and Nauchas, at the coordinates 85QH+JFX. Be prepared for steep and winding roads as you approach the pass.
Public Transportation
To reach Spreetshoogte Pass via public transport, start by taking a bus from Windhoek to Solitaire. Several bus companies operate this route, and the journey typically takes about 3-4 hours. Upon arrival in Solitaire, you can either hire a local taxi or arrange for a shuttle service to take you to the Spreetshoogte Pass. It's advisable to confirm the cost of the taxi or shuttle beforehand, as prices may vary depending on the service provider. The pass is approximately 15 km from Solitaire.
