Continue on the park road for about 30 kilometers. Follow the signs leading to Sossusvlei. Once you reach the Sossusvlei parking area, park your vehicle and proceed to Big Mamma Dune, which is approximately a 2-kilometer hike from the parking area. Look for the prominent sand dune and follow the path towards it.

For those using public transportation, you will need to take a shuttle or bus service from Windhoek to Sesriem. Several companies offer this service, and the cost ranges from N$ 400 to N$ 600.
