Drive north on the B1 highway for approximately 600 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for the C44 road towards Tsumeb. Continue on the C44 for about 130 kilometers until you reach the small town of Tsumeb. From Tsumeb, take the C38 road eastwards towards the town of Grootfontein. This leg of the journey is about 90 kilometers. Once in Grootfontein, follow the B8 road north. After approximately 120 kilometers, turn left onto the C40 road, which leads directly to Khaudum National Park. The last portion of the road is unpaved, so drive carefully. The total driving time from Windhoek is approximately 8-9 hours, not including stops.
