Car
From the center of Namib-Naukluft National Park, head east on the C14 road towards Walvis Bay. Drive approximately 50 kilometers until you reach the town of Walvis Bay. Once in Walvis Bay, follow the signs to Pelican Point, which is located on the Pelican Point Peninsula. Continue on the B2 road and turn onto the gravel road leading to the peninsula. You may need to pay for parking at the entrance, which is usually around N$ 20. The final destination will be on your right, with stunning views of the ocean.
Public Transportation
To reach Pelican Point via public transportation, take a taxi or shuttle from the nearest town, which is Swakopmund, to Walvis Bay. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once in Walvis Bay, you can take a local taxi to Pelican Point. Be sure to confirm the fare before the ride; it should be approximately N$ 150. Keep in mind that public transportation schedules may vary, so check local listings for the latest times.
