Car
From Oshana, head southwest on the B1 highway towards Sossusvlei. The drive is approximately 350 kilometers and will take around 4-5 hours. Once you arrive in the Sossusvlei area, follow the signs towards the Deadvlei parking area. Note that a fee for entering the Namib-Naukluft National Park is required, which is about 80 Namibian dollars (NAD) per person. After parking, you will need to take a 5 km shuttle ride that costs around 100 NAD per person to get to the Deadvlei entrance.

To reach Deadvlei from Oshana using public transportation, you can take a bus or shuttle service to Sossusvlei. Services like Intercape or local shuttles may operate on this route. The bus ride will take approximately 6-7 hours. Once in Sossusvlei, you will need to arrange for a local shuttle or taxi to take you to the Deadvlei entrance, which costs around 100 NAD per person. Additionally, be prepared to pay the park entry fee of 80 NAD upon arrival.
